In college I took one of the most impactful subjects that I'll never forget. Geology. I had the most passionate professor who admired and shared with us the beauty of stones. At one point I wanted to be a Geologist just to learn more and be close to these special non-living beauties. I fell in love with learning more about all stones, precious and non-precious alike.
